Raz Barnea serves as counsel to construction industry and government contract clients. He is involved in all phases of dispute resolution, from pre-suit settlement negotiation; to mediations and arbitrations; to the full complement of litigation processes, including pre-trial discovery, motion practice, and appeals. Raz also has experience working on complex industrial accident cases and insurance coverage. While in law school, Raz clerked in the Labor and Industries Division of the Washington State Attorney General’s Office. Raz also was the Executive Managing Editor of the Washington International Law Journal and competed on the Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot team. A “triple dawg,” Raz holds three degrees from the University of Washington. In addition to law school, Raz attended the UW as an undergraduate student in the humanities and masters student in the School of Marine and Environmental Affairs. Raz served for three years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Jamaica.
