Robynne Parkinson's practice has a dual emphasis in both construction and labor and employment law. Robynne's philosophy with respect to her practice is highly pragmatic. She believes that the only way to effectively assist her clients is to understand their business and provide effective yet practical solutions. Ms. Parkinson is a designated Design Build Professional by the Design Board Institute of America and is a frequent instructor for DBIA's Contracts and Risk Management course across the country.

Robynne's practice includes resolving employer/employee disputes and complex construction disputes though negotiation, mediation, arbitration and litigation. As a construction lawyer, she has negotiated and drafted virtually every type of construction contract, including design build agreements, teaming agreements, and contracts between architects, owners and subcontractors. She was the contract administrator of XO Communications construction program, including management of a $200 million master design build construction agreement. She has represented numerous employers in defending handicap, race, age, and sex discrimination and harassment claims before the EEOC, the WSHRC and in mediation and litigation. She has also successfully represented employers in enforcing covenants not to compete and reviewed numerous employment policies and handbooks and has also assisted many clients in construction related labor issues such as establishing dual gates and the use of project labor agreements.
